Anekdote – Mobile App Platform

The challenge

Anekdote rests on a simple observation: organisations and creators who exist only on social platforms never own the relationship with their audience. Reach is governed by somebody else’s algorithm, and the channel can disappear overnight.

Building your own app instead has traditionally been expensive, technically demanding and hard to maintain over time – especially for smaller players.

The solution

Anekdote combines mobile applications with a web-based App Manager. Customers configure and run their apps themselves – branding, navigation, pages, content, users and members, and statistics.

The platform supports several ways to earn: products, memberships, advertising and exclusive content.

Automation is central. App configuration and build information are used to produce customer-specific mobile apps and manage their lifecycle – from first publication through continuous updates. AI functionality is being introduced into the App Manager to assist with content and image generation, and in time to support a more automated app creation process.
